Reflection Period / Returns

It is possible that you may wish to return an order. Whether the product does not meet expectations or for another reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt without providing any reason.

Return Policy for Online Orders (Distance Sales)

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt without providing a reason. After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return your product. You will receive a full refund of the order amount including shipping costs.
Only the return shipping costs from your address to our location are at your own expense. These costs are approximately €6.95 per package (depending on weight); for exact rates, consult your chosen carrier’s website.

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned with all supplied accessories and — if reasonably possible — in its original condition and packaging. To use this right, you must contact us at info@artworksofleather.com.
We will refund the order amount within 14 days after notification of your return, provided the product has been returned to us in good condition.

If the product is damaged or the packaging is more damaged than necessary to assess the product, we may deduct the loss in value from your refund. Please handle the product with care and ensure it is well packaged when returning.

Product Exchange

Would you like to exchange a product? No problem. Please contact us at info@artworksofleather.com. You are responsible for the shipping costs for returning the product.

Incorrect Address Provided?

Have you accidentally provided an incorrect shipping address? Please contact us as soon as possible. We will try to modify the order if it has not yet been dispatched.

Warranty

We care about our products and logically do our best to deliver them to you in top condition.
Nonetheless, it can happen that an order is damaged during transport or that something else occurs, giving you a legal right to claim under warranty.

You are legally obliged to report the defect to us within two months after discovering it. If the defect falls within the warranty, we will repair or replace the product free of charge.

Complaints

It can always happen that something does not go entirely as planned. We recommend you first make complaints known to us by emailing info@artworksofleather.com.

If this does not lead to a solution, it is possible to register your dispute with the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
As of 15 February 2016, consumers in the EU can also submit complaints via the ODR platform, available at http://ec.europa.eu/odr.

Specific Warranty on Leather Artworks

Artworks of Leather provides a 2-year warranty on its leather artworks.
Color variations are described as accurately as possible on our website. However, external damage is excluded from the warranty.
External damage includes but is not limited to:

  • Damage caused by pests;

  • Damage from exposure to extreme temperatures (e.g., open fireplace, gas heaters);

  • Damage from impacts;

  • Damage from the use of third-party mounting materials (glues, adhesives, impregnations, etc.);

  • Damage from aggressive cleaning agents (degreasers, bleach, chlorine, etc.);

  • Wear and tear from normal use;

  • Damage caused by use in extremely humid spaces (bathrooms, showers, etc.).

All products undergo extensive testing, including tests under extreme temperatures and colorfastness tests. Nevertheless, slight discoloration (up to 10%) and minor imperfections are considered normal and not covered by warranty.
